O Festival ECRÃ orgulhosamente apresenta a primeira atração de sua 8ª edição: a retrospectiva do realizador canadense Kurt Walker!
Kurt faz filmes que tratam de lugar, conexão e tempo. Em 2014, seu primeiro longa-metragem sem orçamento Hit 2 Pass ganhou o Prêmio Universidade Lusíada do Doclisboa de Melhor Longa-metragem na competição internacional. Mais recentemente, seu último filme, Eu Pensei o Mundo de Você, ganhou o prêmio máximo no Festival de Nouveau Cinema, no Canadá. Kurt virá ao Brasil para apresentar os seus filmes e participar de debates após as exibições com medição de Wilson Oliveira Filho e Filipe Furtado. A entrada para as sessões é gratuita.
