Andre Parente

Andre Parente

André Parente holds a PhD in cinema from the University of Paris VIII, where he studied (82-87) under the guidance of Gilles Deleuze. In 1987 he became a professor at UFRJ, where he founded the Center for Image Technology (N-imagem). Between 1977 and 2003 he made numerous films, videos and installations in which experimentation predominated.
