Three continuous zooms into a landscape are deconstructed into a discontinuous appearance of single frames. The panoramic view is obstructed, the organic movement of the hand dissolves into the structural variation of the basic units of the film. The indexical content is inevitably present in the physical film strip and yet is lost in the structure of the film. The closer you get to what is out there, the more it disappears.
