Helena Frade holds a bachelor's degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, a master's degree in the Postgraduate Program in Arts, Culture and Languages (UFJF) and works as an independent artist and filmmaker. She wrote and directed the short film “Firma o Guia Povo do Santo” (2015) and acted in the feature film “Imo” (2017). She is mainly interested in the following themes: creative experience, hybridisms, archival images and cinema and memory.
