Bruno Safadi

Born in 1980, Bruno Safadi lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. As a director, Bruno started out making short films and his filmography includes Na Idade da Imagem ou Projeção nas Cavernas (Torino FF 2002) and Uma Estrela pra Ioiô (IFF Rotterdam 2004). To date, Bruno Safadi has directed, produced and written 7 feature films, Meu nome é Dindi (Best Film Tiradentes – 2007); Belair (Rotterdam 2010), Éden (Rotterdam 2013), O Uivo da Gaita (Rotterdam 2013), O Fim de uma Era (Rotterdam 2015), O Prefeito (Locarno 2015) and his most recent title, Sofá (Torino 2019). In 2018, Bruno Safadi directed the series Aruanas for Globoplay and TV Globo and is in post-production on a new film entitled “Lilith”.
