Rubens Takamine (São Paulo, 1993). Researcher, visual artist and filmmaker, currently lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. He is a Master's student in Visual Arts (EBA/UFRJ) with a degree in Radio and Television (ECO/UFRJ). His practice reflects a deep interest in the investigation of memories, traumas, dreams and images produced in trance experiences. Through collage, he creates hybrids with organic elements coupled with the supports he experiments with, translating his own daydreams into films, photographs, multimedia installations and performative actions.
