Ritual and Repetition was filmed in Xiamen at Nanputuo Temple. The experimental short film examines the temple’s ritual space as a place that encompasses a range of histories and religions (Buddhism and Confucianism), which day after day interacts with crowds of people who come to pray, practice, stroll and explore the space.
