Maria Eduarda is six years old. She was playing at home when she was stung by a scorpion. Iracema, her mother, began a desperate search for a boat that would take her daughter to the nearest hospital in the city center of Belém. Maria was between life and death. Upon arriving at the hospital and seeing an image of Our Lady of Nazareth, Iracema made a promise to save her daughter's life. After the girl recovered, Iracema set out on a journey to fulfill her promise.
