MIAMI unites two visual worlds that challenge our usual modes of perception. Insects, filmed under a microscope and bathed in colored light, create images of beings that are usually out of our sight. Juxtaposed with airplane flights and landings, filmed with a telephoto lens. Our usual field of vision is contoured and proportions are turned upside down. A juxtaposition of two pictorial worlds that symbolically represent the ongoing human crises.
