Adapted from a letter written by Victor Berger in 1895. "We are moving forward. We work. 4 hours a day, five days a week. The situation isn't good. We use the fastest machines possible. Some of us are proud and some have pain. We aim at tomorrow, which is supposed to bring miracles. We might survive an hour and talk to one another. We want to be friends. We want life without boundaries. Heaven is a horrible thing. There are so many cars."
