Curta-Metragem
A dialogue between Ruth's childhood memories and the stories of her father, an evangelical pastor, brings to light details of the story of a resident of the outlying community of Ceilândia (DF), marked by the violence she suffered from men in her life.
A mother of four children, Ruth lives with her elderly father, and admires him as a pastor but not as a father. Her father, known as Zé, recovered from alcoholism and found salvation in the evangelical church. His greatest asset is his certainties and teachings based on the Bible, principles that he tried to follow blindly and pass on, in his own way, to his family. A thin line tells the profound contrasts of Ruth and the pain of being a woman.
