Vivian Papageorgiou

She holds a PhD in Film Studies and teaches Film at the University of Athens, Faculty of Media. She holds a Master’s degree in Audiovisual and Film (Nouvelle Sorbonne Paris III), a Bachelor’s degree in TV and Film Directing (Stavrakos Cinema School, Athens), degrees in English Literature (Aristotle University, Thessaloniki) and Interior Design (Dimitrelis School of Arts). She is an alumnus of the Sarajevo Film Festival (2016) and her script “Hansel” was featured in the festival’s Pitch. Her script “Lost & Found” (2018) won the Hellenic Film Academy Award in the Short Film Fund competition. In 2023, her documentary “Memories” was selected to participate in the Script Lab Dox of War of Zagreb Documentary Film Festival. and his second documentary “Delta” was selected to participate in the CoPro Forum of the MakeDox Documentary Film Festival, in Skopje, and in the DocLab Workshop of the 20th Verzio Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, in Budapest.
