Driven by his curiosity for knowledge, Matthew Wolkow creates a cinema that reveals the people he meets and the stories that accompany them. Situated between essay and experimentation, rubbing together reality, imagination, speech, words, music and sensorialities, his work benefits from this hybridism where form is approached as resolution. In October 2021, the Cinémathèque québécoise screened his first retrospective.
