Rolf Hellat studied film at the ZHDK in Zurich. He took part in an exchange program at the Film Institute of India in Pune. Since then, he has made fiction and documentary films as a director and editor, which have been shown at the Palm Springs Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival, among others. He seeks to understand the connections between humans in all their diversity and wishes humanity as a humble part of nature. He is constantly in a state of learning and tries to reflect his privileges - to hopefully contribute to a world of solidarity, inclusion, tolerance and communion. In addition to his film work, he is making music with instruments made of kinetic sensor objects in the duo ""Oszilot"" (www.oszilot.com). He has also spent time in the forests of Brazil working on an organic farming project, played the tenor flute in Paris, slept on the streets or cycled from Zurich to Abidjan.
