"Consolation Is a Weeping River" is an essay on the multifaceted process involved in mourning. The work explores the shadows, feelings, reasoning and paths involved in this painful but liberating part of any human being's life.
It is the result of a collective sharing of thoughts that celebrate the life of those who have passed away and mourn the posthumous existence of those who remain alive. It is also a reflection that mourning is more than mourning; it is an attempt to translate all the impressions of this unique event. It is an understanding that the passage encompasses hopelessness and hope in almost proportional measures.
