Marcela Tamm Rabello is a filmmaker and film professor. She holds a degree and a master's degree in film from the University of Brasília and a master's degree in film and multimedia from the Sorbonne University. She began her career as a script clerk, a role she still holds, having had the opportunity to work on 15 feature films and many short films with directors such as Nelson Pereira dos Santos, Alain Fresnot, Cao Hamburger, Philippe Bracinsky, Rafaela Camelo, among others. A director, screenwriter and producer, she produced, as an author, a 55' DOCTV, Carroceiros de Brasília, shown throughout Brazil on public TV channels, and four short films, including Lauro Davidson, shown at the Brasília Festival of Brazilian Cinema in 2008, Espiada, selected by the Mix Festival and shown in several Brazilian capitals, Tokyo and San Francisco, and Ruínas de Navarone, currently being released. She is a TV director with experience in studios, locations and live broadcasts. Her production company, ISTRILI, among other works, produced the 2018, 2019 and 2020 editions of CineFest São Jorge – Chapada dos Veadeiros Film Festival and co-produced the feature film Nelson Pereira dos Santos – Vida de Cinema, shown at Cannes, 2023. As an author, she dedicates herself, above all, to experimentation, working with freedom in the production of her films.
