Born in 1960 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gustavo Fontán has taught workshops and seminars at the Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center and the Emad (Municipal School of Dramatic Arts) in the city of Buenos Aires; at the Center for Cinematographic Studies of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain), Milan Iulm (Italy), the University of Navarra (Spain) and the University of Minnesota (USA). He received the Konex Documentary Award in 2011. His most recent work is THE TERMINAL (2023), selected at the FID Marseille.
