This film... is it or isn't it about Clorindo Testa? And if it isn't, then what is it about? Is it about the director's life, about his father's life, about the life of his country? Or could it just be one of those biographical films that proliferate at film festivals, in which the narrator tells old family stories and takes old photos out of a box. It is between these threats - and others even worse - that this tiny, microscopic adventure navigates, a film that could be subtitled, stealing the title from the Savoyard Xavier de Maistre, as "Voyage autour de mon père".
