Gregory Gananian, Black Leo

Gregorio Gananian is a filmmaker and artist from São Paulo. He made the feature film "Aquele que Viu o Abismo" (2024) in partnership with Negro Leo, winner of the Best Film award at the 27th Tiradentes Film Festival, he also made the feature film "Inaudito" (2018), winner of the 21st Tiradentes Film Festival - Olhos Livres (with Danielly O.M.M.), he made the short films "Nenhuma Fantasia" (with Negro Leo), "G.M - 8 cantos", "A Guerra de Michael". He made music videos for Jards Macalé "Trevas" and Negro Leo. He also directed intermedia projects such as "Sinfonia de Jards" with Jards Macalé at Teat(r)o Oficina, "Gilberto Mundus" and O Olhar (with José Roberto Aguilar). He is currently filming his new feature film "O Inspetor Geral" (The Inspector General). Negro Leo is an artist from Maranhão who lives in Rio de Janeiro and currently resides in São Paulo. He has released 12 albums since 2012, most of them on the Rio de Janeiro label QTV. In the cinema, he directed with Gregório Gananian the films "Aquele que Viu o Abismo" (He Who Saw the Abism), winner of the 27th Tiradentes Film Festival, and the short film "NENHUMA FANTASIA" (NONE OF FANCY). He participated in the films "INAUDITO" by Gregório Gananian and "É ROCHA E RIO, NEGRO LEO" by Paula Gaitan.
