Amanda & Isadora (99/01) are a duo of artists from Rio de Janeiro who have been working together since 2019. Through a fully shared artistic practice, they examine the social dynamics implicit in the physical and virtual spaces they inhabit, presenting works that are aware of themselves and the mechanisms of legitimacy in the art circuit. They produce works in various formats, often reconfiguring discourses, techniques and images as working material. Graduates in Visual Arts from UFRJ, they have participated in exhibitions at the Museu da República, Parque Lage, Casa da Escada Colorida, Espaço Oásis and Casa Bicho. Currently, the duo works in parallel in Rio de Janeiro and Berlin, shortening distances and exploring the possibilities within their collective practice.
