Short Film
Raw footage from the film "The Cosmonaut" under CC license. The collection features hours of footage of unique landscapes and locations, filmed in the Soviet Union and Spain, and describes the strange journey of a cosmonaut on an empty Earth.
In Cosmonaut, a chroma key scene was used, in which an astronaut appears walking slowly with apparent solemnity, not knowing exactly what to do in that space and finally deciding to sit in the middle of the scene. At the same time, the hands of a second astronaut appear, constantly signaling to him.
Meanwhile, the electronic music of the instrument "Martenot Waves" is playing. The two separate scenes are unimportant, but when put together, they acquire the relevance of a comic situation, while at the same time satirizing the use of digital compositions.

Albert Bayona
After establishing himself as a painter in the late 1980s, Albert Bayona moved towards digital art and new technologies. In his broad interdisciplinary approach, he explored his interest in landscape, territory and its transformation. From there, he created contradictions and counterpositions of concepts, sometimes with a transgressive intention of creating discomfort in the viewer, who is accustomed to assuming everyday life in an uncritical way. His work is linked to music and cinema and reflects on the mechanisms of deception and perception in cinema. His artworks involve various disciplines such as painting, drawing, photography, video, digital technology and music. His projects have been presented at MACRO Asilo Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei Fine Arts, Art Center La Panera, Museum Jaume Morera, Marguerida Montferrato Foundation, CentroCentro Cibeles, PetitGaleria, ACVIC, CCA Centre for Contemporary Arts of Glasgow, Ex-New Centro di arte Contemporanea di Sulbiate, The Arts Santa Mónica and The Torrance Art Museum. Albert has participated in the following fairs and festivals, such as ARCO, Videoformes, Split International Festival, LOOP Festival, Athens Digital Arts Festival, Madatac, Muces Shows European Film, or FILE Electronic Language International Festival. In 1985, Bayona received the second prize of the XXIV International Drawing Award, Joan Miró Foundation. Later in his career, in 2008, he was the winner of the Vasudha Award for best environmental short film. His works have been incorporated into the National Collection of Contemporary Art of the Catalan government.
