Variable Duration

Blending design and art, “Rua do Monte, 11” is an installation that seeks to make the memories of a Brazilian family experienceable from a new perspective. The visitor is invited to enter the labyrinth of memory objects and, with each step, immerse themselves ever more deeply into the core of this family, discovering its characters, its stories and its faith.

Carolina Cruz

Carolina Cruz, a designer and resident of downtown Rio, is a neighborhood fanatic to the core. I work in graphic design and am at the beginning of a journey that seeks to integrate design, art, experience, memory and interactivity. Telling stories, remembering moments, and transmitting nostalgia. I like to work with what I experience, because I see great wealth in the little things and in the particular universes of each space and person; everything can be a story to tell.
