Fake Live is a web series that follows the daily life of actress and influencer Fernanda Paes Leme during quarantine, from the point of view of her cell phone, whether on the front or rear camera or on the image of the device's own screen, browsing through conversations, social networks and other apps. After seeing the success of the lives and content created by other artists in isolation, Fernanda begins to feel pressure from her agent, her fans and famous colleagues to create something new on the web, but her desire is to study William Shakespeare's Hamlet from a female point of view. Everything changes when Fernanda receives a message from a friend saying that she is loving her Live on Instagram. When trying to access the @fepaesleme account, she discovers that someone has changed her password. Through an alternative account, Fernanda accesses her profile and sees a lookalike pretending to be her in the live broadcast. Fernanda then begins to try to investigate the lookalike and herself in order to try to recover her own identity.
