This story is a dark fantasy told through reconstructed flashbacks, memory errors seen at the time of Tsuruha's death. He soon receives a letter from Tsuruha, who was thought to be dead. To learn more about the matter, Kikuo travels to his sister's rural home to find her there along with a doll that mysteriously resembles his daughter.

Hiroyuki Onogawa, Rii Ishihara
Hiroyuki Onogawa: Onogawa was born in Fukuoka Prefecture. After graduating from Kyushu Sangyo University, he traveled to France to study film music. Upon returning to Japan, he began his career as a musician.
In 1994, he met director Satoshi Isaka (now known as Sogo Ishii) while working on the exhibition "Yume no Kyusaku - Kaijin Q Sakurando" based on the works of novelist Kyusaku Yumeno. Beginning with the film "Mizu no Naka no Hachigatsu," Onogawa was responsible for the music for all of Ishii's works, including "Yume no Ginga" (1997), which won the Grand Prix at the Oslo Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the Sochi Film Festival, and received an official invitation to the Panorama section of the Berlin Film Festival. He also composed the music for "Gojo Reisenki", "Electric Dragon 80000V", "DEAD END RUN", "Kyoshin", and "Asia no Gyakushu DVD-BOX ver".
In addition, he composed the music for the eighth episode of the 2002 TV series "Shiritsu Tantei Hamamike - Toki yo Tomare, Kimi wa Utsukushii" (directed by Sogo Ishii) and the 2007 TBS drama "Kirakira Kenshuui".
In 2014, he served as music composer and producer for the film "Starting Over" directed by Kosuke Nakanishi (selected for the Japan Splash section at the 27th Tokyo International Film Festival). In 2015, he produced the film "Sayonara" directed by Koji Fukada (selected for the Main Competition at the 27th Tokyo International Film Festival and winner of the Best Film award at the Madrid International Film Festival - Days of Cinema), and he was involved in the recording, sound effects, mixing, music and all aspects of sound in the film.
In 2016, he composed the music for the film "Harmonium" by Koji Fukada (awarded the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the 69th Cannes Film Festival and invited to the Special Presentation section at the 41st Toronto International Film Festival). In 2019, he composed the music for "A Girl Missing" (directed by Koji Fukada, competed in the International Competition section at the Locarno Film Festival and screened at the Toronto International Film Festival).
Rii Ishihara: Actress who has acted in films, commercials, dramas and plays. In addition, she is involved in supporting young directors, planning, producing, and even selecting Japanese films for international film festivals, with the aim of sending as many Japanese films as possible overseas. Since 2019, she has been organizing the film festival "FOUR SEASONS HANABI" in collaboration with Masamichi Sawada, producer of Art House Films, a major French distributor, and a regular participant at the Cannes International Film Festival, to connect Japanese films with audiences. Her currently released works include "Sasaki, In My Mind" directed by Takuya Uchiyama and "My Mother's Piano" directed by Rihiro Goito. His upcoming works include "A Story Stitched in Red Thread", a joint production between Japan and Myanmar directed by Julia Matsushita, "The Boxer with a Prosthetic Leg", a collaboration between Japan and the Philippines directed by Brillante Mendoza, "Thirsty Pots" directed by Kenichi Uganai, "Our World Together" directed by Hanawa Iizuka and "AFTERGLOWS" directed by Taichi Kimura.
