Short Film

A short trip to Israel and the West Bank by students from a German art university becomes the starting point for this film. The conflict that the students witness and in which they involuntarily participate leads to a conflict within the group itself and to a questioning of the role of the artist in the war zone. How possible is it to remain neutral? Are there ways to aestheticize war in an acceptable way? What is the role of empathy and sympathy? The author interviews one of the participants, who recalls his own personal experience several years after the trip.
