Born in Fortaleza in 1991. He holds a Master's degree in Multimedia Arts from the University of Lisbon and a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from the Federal University of Ceará, maintaining permanent contact with the performing arts and dramaturgy in dance. He has written and directed films that have been shown at numerous festivals, such as Locarno, Viennale, IDFA, Cinéma du Réel and Bafici. Retrospectives of his filmography have been presented in Portugal, France, Colombia and most recently at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. "A vida são dois dias", his second feature film, received an honorable mention from the jury of the FIDMarseille international competition.
