Jerónimo Atehortúa studied directing at the Universidad del Cine in Argentina and completed a master's degree in film.factory in Bosnia, under the guidance of Bela Tarr. He produced the documentaries Pirotecnia (2019, where he was also a co-writer) and Cómo el cielo después de lluver (2020). He directed the short films Las ruinas (2021), Rekonstrukcja (2018), La emboscadura (2017), Becerra (2015) and Dean Funes 841 (2011). In 2020, he published the book Los cinemas por venir by Planeta. He is one of the founding members of Invasion Cine. Witnesses Mute is his first feature film as a director. Luis Ospina studied film at UCLA in the United States. Upon his return, he became one of the founders of Grupo Cali. He has directed both fiction and documentary features. From 2007 until his death in 2019 he was the artistic director of the Cali International Film Festival.
