FW Murnau's work, Nosferatu, created in 1922, is one of the first and most iconic horror films in the history of cinema. Today, Murnau's film is in the public domain, which has led to the creation of "Us", a video art that subverts the original montage and uses a soundtrack that prioritizes drama and tension, with the aim of reflecting on the configurations of the global pandemic and the means of relationship established during this period. What we see on the screen is no longer the terror of a young woman attacked by a vampire, but the drama of a couple who suffer the pain of not being able to touch each other, as this will inevitably result in death. In this way, both love and murder end in tragedy.
