Forces of nature. Cycles of transformation. Rites of washing. Flows.
L A V A is a collective and independent creation. An audiovisual experiment that combines research into archive images, video editing, improvised music and electronic sound processing.
The creation of the work began with a poetic script divided into 4 acts that brings together words that suggest different physical states of matter and cycles of transformation. Based on these stimuli, the musicians performed jams with saxophone and piano that culminated in the recording of a free-improv session, followed by a process of mixing and electronic sound processing. The creation of the video began with research into archive images and editing of the material based on the music created.
