Director, screenwriter, actor and dancer, he founded VERUS Films upon returning to the country after 20 years in NY, where he worked as an actor and dancer and graduated from the NY Films Academy. Recent credits in Brazil include: “Vidas Secas” (in distribution) in the production of the contemporary dance film with CENARTE Dimensões, the short film “ir-se” with the choreographer Carlos Laerte, shown at the Dança em Trânsito festival at CCBB RJ on November 12, 2021, the dance-documentary series “Dança em Mim” (2021) in partnership with Dellarte Soluções Artísticas, virtual galas for the Ballet do Theatro Municipal do RJ in (2020 and 2021), “Cheio” (2020) a video dance selected for Dança em Foco, Film Fest by Rogue Dance and the Fresta 2020 show, “Daily Dose” (2019) a short film with 13 official selections in festivals abroad, “OV(O)O” (2019) a theater/dance installation ArtRio 2019. He was part of the cast of the musical “Homo Tapiens” (2020) with the Brazilian Tap Dance Orchestra of Stella Antunes and Tim Rescala with a season at the Clara Nunes Theater in RJ. He is a filmmaker, director and choreographer, born in Rio de Janeiro. Bachelor of Cinema, specializing in documentary, with a postgraduate degree in Performing Arts, he completed his artistic training in New York.

He created the Laso Contemporary Dance Company, where he develops his own body and dramaturgical research work, bringing cinema into his choreographic research by creating an intersection between the two universes. With over 14 works in its repertoire, the company has received important awards and reviews in the dance/theater segment.
He has choreographed for several companies, such as the Curitiba dance company, which premiered at the Teatro Guaíra and the Teatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro - TMRJ. He received a Motion of Congratulations and Applause for the importance of culture and his work, which was unanimously approved by the Legislative Assembly. He is the General and Artistic Director of the Academia das Artes, where he coordinates a dance training plan. He is the creator of the social project Casa das Artes. He teaches, choreographs and gives workshops throughout the country and internationally, such as the Center Nacional de La Danse in Paris, O Lugar a Dança in Portugal, the Festival Move Berlim, Germany and the Joinville Dance Festival, where he also serves as a judge.
