Julia Brasil is a visual artist who lives and works in Curitiba, Paraná. Her works are part of the Homeostasis Lab digital art platform. In 2021, she was part of the “Sala Compacta” exhibition at the Goiânia Art Museum. She was awarded a Fellowship by the Processing Foundation. She was part of the Visual Arts Project Monitoring Program at the SESC-SP Research and Training Center under the guidance of Clarissa Diniz and Gustavo Torrezan. She also participated in the SESI-PR Audiovisual Center. She holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Paraná and is currently studying Visual Arts at the State University of Paraná. Julia works between the digital and the material, exploring the potential of the transformations that occur in this translation process. In her works, the internet functions as both a medium and content, revealing sometimes hidden aspects of cyberspace.
