"Those who think the Earth will end are mistaken" is a painting-offshoot of the #CarneCorpo series, designed to explore the idea of the future of Meat, where the leftovers of an extractive society dialogue with the Nature that resists. The painting, once a window, becomes a stage and a space. It is a seductive setting for the experience of the interactor. Whoever points their cell phone at the painting will discover hidden virtual elements, accessible through Augmented Reality. The elements bring to light the perception of what is silenced and reveal a parallel, virtual world.

The painting was produced over the last year. The overlapping of layers, subjects and images in the work is a reflection of the painter's creative process, which acknowledges the excessive intersections of images in contemporary times and uses them as a resource in the construction of her works.

Those who think the Earth will end are mistaken is a portal that responds when requested. The painting, as a structure-system, responds. The expansion of space occurs through the interaction of the participant.
