Raoul and Beatrice meet eyes in the Montreal subway. This sets off a chain of events that will affect the entire city. He is a rock star activist on a secret mission; she is a bohemian who roams the streets at night, distributing books to the homeless. Every Thursday night, she meets Constance and Eugène in her small, candlelit apartment for their weekly reading ritual. Constance broadcasts her live-sampled, politically conscious sound art on an independent radio station; Eugène has been working on a novel for years, while trying to isolate himself from the outside world. The three young friends dream of their own poetic revolution, inspired by the Situationists, on whom Raoul modeled his persona.

Renaud Després-Larose, Ana Tapia Rousiouk
After studying philosophy, Renaud Després-Larose decided to dedicate himself to cinema and has held various positions (producer, cinematographer, editor) in independent short and feature film productions. In 2011, he produced and directed his first feature film, Comme des mouches. Since 2015, he has been a member of the editorial board of Hors Champ, the first online film magazine in French. Le rêve et la radio is the second feature film he has produced and directed.
Of Ecuadorian and Ukrainian origin, Ana Tapia Rousiouk is challenged by the adventure of listening: that of our time and its turbulent zones. Some thorns in the path: Breaking through the affirmative mists, the sad coherences, the murderous cradles. Exploring the backstage of listening, the phenomena of hearing in the air and music – the loyal opponent.
