Natália Reis is a film researcher and filmmaker, born in Santos Dumont, Minas Gerais, and currently living in Juiz de Fora. She graduated in Arts from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and holds a master's degree from the Postgraduate Program in Arts, Culture and Language at the same institution.

Her artistic process involves the creation of altered worlds, generating narrative spaces that explore a conflict between landscape and the supernatural, using collages and appropriation of archive images. Magic and technology are elements reflected in her work, based on the construction of universes created within radical experimentation with images. In her work, Natália Reis also addresses themes involving sexuality and the female figure, developing mixtures between the organic and the artificial and seeking the emergence of the ghostly in the visual and sound experience. Her films are immersive proposals that explore fictional production through an unusual fantasy bias and expansive abstraction, through intensive processes of textural filtering and sound research.
