The coincidence of a similar and unique "deficient" condition of an insect causes Ani to be reminded of her son's reality. From there, a relationship of empathy and care is established, triggering questions that go far beyond the sweet and adorable (or disgusting) image that a butterfly can represent. How long could a butterfly that does not fly live in nature? What if it received human care? With these questions in mind, combined with the instinct to care, a record begins that would only end with the finiteness of this life. Over the course of four surprising days, identifications and affections were created, deepening the questions. Does humanized care perpetuate suffering or bring dignity to a vulnerable life?
