Paulo Accioly

Visual artist, curator and audiovisual producer from the Northeast. Paulo published his first photobook in 2018, of analog photos: C'est la vie. A love story told in 50 black and white photos. In 2020, the book became his passport to study "art et image" at the École Kourtrajmé, run by artist JR, in France. In collaboration with 60 artists from around the world, Paulo created the video dance "O Abraço Logo Vem", winner of the Best Animation at Inshadow 2020 and CineTamoio 2020.
Paulo currently has works exhibited at Chateau La Coste and the Parcours Saint Germain project, both in Paris, in addition to being the creator of artivist projects in Alagoas, including A gente foi feliz aqui - collages by residents of Pinheiro, one of the neighborhoods affected by the process of soil subsidence, and Cara de V*ado - a discussion about masculinity.
