When a new celestial body appears in the universe, a community left over from the post-collapse Earth promptly sends the scientific research group known as Cosmovisionaries to explore it. In addition to envisioning a world “after the end of the world” not governed by men, Astro Gêmeo seeks to highlight the delicate balance of biochemical circumstances that made the evolution of terrestrial life forms possible. Planet Earth, in this sense, is seen as a shelter against cosmic hostility. The narrative subtly questions the narcissistic character of many contemporary civilizations, in which the human race tends to figure in the center, indisputably.

Moura's Chana

Visual artist, researcher and illustrator, I have a BA in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a Master's in Fine Arts from the University of Porto. My artistic practices ruminate on the intersections between ecology, philosophy and fiction, especially speculative narratives. My intention is to create narratives that envision futures beyond modern philosophy, combining anti-anthropocentric thoughts and alternative modes of collective existence.
