Benedito Senna is blind. He moved from Belém to France, where he fell in love and married Jean Luc, who is a bit like his eyes and a devoted reader of his poems. It is in Paris that he meets another Benedito, a film director who is also Brazilian and gay. All that remains of this first meeting are some cell phone videos and voice messages exchanged. Their name and shared passion for images lead them to meet again years later to make a film. Together, they go in search of the last image that Senna remembers seeing.

Benedito Ferreira

Benedito Ferreira lives and works in Goiânia. His artistic research focuses on the image as writing, the poetics of archives, their montages and erasures of the boundaries between “document” and “fiction”. He works with audiovisual, objects, installations and photography, without establishing hierarchies between the media. In recent years, he has shown work and collaborated with institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art of Goiás, Círculo de Artes Plásticas de Coimbra (Portugal), The Room Projects (France), Art Space BLECH for Contemporary Art (Germany) and Czong Institute for Contemporary Art (South Korea). He wrote and directed the feature films A Última Imagem (2020) and Granada, which is currently being finalized. He made the short films Eu já não caibo mais aqui (2009), O dia secreto (2015) and Algo do que fica (Something that stays) (2017). He graduated in Audiovisual from UEG and holds a master’s degree in Art and Visual Culture from UFG. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
