Mariana Dianela Torres Valencia is an independent filmmaker and researcher from Mexico City who focuses on social, philosophical and artistic approaches through audiovisual forms. She graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with a degree in Communications with a specialization in Audiovisual Production. She has also participated in several seminars and workshops on moving image and film studies. Since 2015, she has presented her work at various film and video festivals, museums and exhibitions in Mexico and the US; also in South America and Europe.
