Frances Arpaia is a queer trans woman living in Brooklyn. She holds a master’s degree from Brooklyn College and occasionally works as a researcher. Most of her time, she is busy making her own films that explore everything from queer life in Brooklyn and the struggles of the community to long-term experimental works, including a feature-length performance of Yoko Ono’s poetry and installations.
