Joshua Troxler

Joshua R. Troxler is a visual artist based in central North Carolina. A graduate of Columbia University’s MFA in Film, Joshua makes films primarily about the American South and memory using his family members and himself as subjects. His feature-length documentary BEULAH LAND, a film about grief told through the eyes of his widowed grandmother in North Carolina’s tobacco country, is currently in post-production. He is also co-producing the next feature film from award-winning director Kirsten Johnson, set for release in 2022.
