Christelle Lheureux

Christelle Lheureux (1972) is a French artist and filmmaker. She studied art at French academies, including Picardy, Paris VIII and Le Fresnoy.
Her work mainly deals with non-linear narratives that are somewhere between fiction and documentary, with screens, moving images and sounds often divided.
She has been creating video installations and films since 1997, and has collaborated with renowned artists such as Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Albert Serra.
She has participated in numerous exhibitions, biennials and contemporary artist residencies in Europe and Asia, and has won awards at several film festivals.
