Yotam Ben-David

Yotam Ben-David was born in Israel in 1987. He studied at the Jerusalem High School for the Arts and later at the Minshar School of Arts in Tel Aviv, and graduated with honors. His short films have been selected for large-scale festivals, including “Remains” – his graduation film project, which he wrote and directed, and in which he played the lead role. “Remains” won the best short film award at the 2013 Jerusalem International Film Festival and the best short film award at the Mallorca International Film Festival. His most recent mid-length film “Thunder from the Sea” was selected for the FID Marseille 2018 and won the Meta Fundation Prize. He currently lives in Paris, where he is developing his first feature film “Over Time and Distance”. The film, produced by the Paris-based company La Belle Affaire Productions, was selected to participate in the L’elier Cinéfondation film festival in 2019.
