An autobiographical film that takes as its starting point the participation of the director's father as an extra in a French film called Jean Galmot Aventurier (1990), which deals with the history of French Guiana. By rewriting and reenacting a part of Jean Galmot Aventurier, Maxime and his father detect voices from the history of this territory that were included in the film's editing.
