In 1992, during a meeting held at the family estate in the interior of Minas Gerais, all the young heirs of the Baumann family mysteriously disappear. The event is revisited through old footage and photographs, in the hope of reconstructing their last days and solving the case. Selection of the Brasília Festival and Indie Lisboa 2019.

Bruna Carvalho Almeida
Bruna Carvalho Almeida graduated in Audiovisual from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo. She has worked as an editor, including the feature film ‘Fabiana’, by Brunna Laboissière, winner of the audience award at the 9th Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba Int’ Festival (2018), and the short film ‘Mesmo com Tanta Agonia’, by Alice Andrade Drummond, selected for the Brasília Film Festival in 2018. She directed the short film “Correspondências do Front”, shown at the 26th São Paulo International Short Film Festival, the 9th CineBH, the Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival, and the 14th International Festival Signes De Nuit- Bangkok. “Os Jovens Baumann” is her first feature film as a director.
