After her mother's death, Amalia discovers that her husband is having an affair. But when he mysteriously dies a few days later, the young widow, obsessed with her late husband's mistress, succumbs to bloodthirsty madness.
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez
Born in Puerto Rico in 1975 and known for being the guitarist for the musical projects At the Drive-In and The Mars Volta, among other musical projects, Omar Rodriguez Lopez is a multi-artist. Musician, composer, producer, actor and director. In cinema, he directed the feature films The Sentimental Engine Slayer and Los Chidos, selected for festivals such as Rotterdam, South by Southwest and Festival do Rio. Amalia is his third film and was part of the festivals L’Etranger, in France and FICUNAM, in Mexico.
