Descrito pela Variety como “inovador” e “pioneiro”, Post Truth é o primeiro documentário de longa-metragem gerado por inteligência artificial da história. Ele explora nossa relação com a tecnologia e examina como chegamos a um mundo onde os fatos não importam mais. O filme documenta uma era de sobrecarga de informações e dissonância cultural, usando a própria linguagem da época que retrata. Desfocando a linha entre o real e o falso, o filme questiona não apenas o que vemos, mas também o que escolhemos acreditar. Ele se inspira na visão cinematográfica de Godfrey Reggio e no estilo de ensaio documental de Adam Curtis e Chris Marker.

Alkan Avcıoğlu
Born in Turkey in 1982, Alkan Avcıoğlu is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker working with artificial intelligence, whose background spans film criticism, electronic music, and academic research. In 2022, he shifted his multifaceted career to focus on AI’s storytelling potential, quickly gaining acclaim for his distinct visual language and conceptual depth in his collections. Avcıoğlu’s work has been exhibited worldwide, and he became one of the first AI artists exhibited at major traditional art fairs such as Paris Photo, Art Basel, Zona Maco, and Vogue Photo. His works have been acquired by museums and prominent collectors, and he was featured in Christie’s inaugural AI art auction. In 2025 he directed Post Truth, the first AI-generated feature documentary film in the history. Most recently Avcıoğlu collaborated with world- renowned photographer Edward Burtynsky for an exhibition opened in New York.
