1st SCREEN FESTIVAL
A film is a cut within a cut within a cut. Lygia Clark escaped with the paint outside the frame, creating an escape cut in the cut. The screen is a frame, a defined space, and if the content escapes through a cut, the limit becomes the whole.
The first edition of ECRÃ took place in June 2017 at Templo - Gávea, consisting of 10 films in installation format, round table, lectures, performances and shows; and in July at the MAM Cinematheque, where the selected films were shown inside the auditorium.
