‘Who are you?’ is an audiovisual work made up of images and sounds that surface after haptic and scopic experiments have taken place. I find myself stitching hums, vibrations, colours, shapes, repetition and rhythms that invoke an inquiry inward.
‘Who are you?' was a question posed by the ecologist and author Carl Safina. The question is in relation to how we can readjust our relationship to plants, animals and all life on earth by simply asking 'Who are you?' It’s a devastatingly crucial question in light that we may find ourselves the only life left on this planet, and before all the beauty that makes up life on earth is all but gone.
