Gabriel Papaléo makes films and is the editor of the film magazine Multiplot!. He directed short films such as Aqui de Volta (2018), shown at the 21st Tiradentes Film Festival, Essas Dias de Claridade (2018), Protejam essa Laje (2019), both shown at the ECRÃ Festival, and Sombras do Amanhã (2021), produced in partnership with the audiovisual preservation institution Cinelimite. He edited and produced the feature films Escuro Horizonte (2019) - shown at the Mostra do Filme Livre, and Cena do Crime (2021), and the short film Muriel (2021), both shown at CineBH. He worked as a preservation assistant at the Cinemateca do MAM between 2016 and 2017. He was the curator of short films at the ECRÃ Festival for three editions, between 2020 and 2022.
